Student Leadership Team

At our SFX, we place great value on student leadership. We believe it essential to provide our students with meaningful opportunities to lead, contribute, and represent our community.

The Student Leadership Team comprises of College Captains, Speciality Captains for Spirituality & Wellbeing, Social Justice, Communication, Creative Arts, Sustainability & Environment and Sport as well as House Captains. After a process involving application, interview and elections, student leaders are appointed to represent the College and student body each year.

Our Year 12 Student Leadership Team serve as a strong example of what student leadership looks like in action. They participate in leadership formation days, network with students from other schools, and take part in a range of initiatives—both within and beyond our College. Their efforts help build a strong sense of community, raise vital funds for charity, and amplify the voice of our student body. They work in close partnership with our staff and College Executive, striving toward shared goals.

Each year group is proudly represented by members of the Student Representative Council (SRC), elected through a voting process within their pastoral groups. These representatives meet regularly with their Year Coordinator and College leaders to discuss the needs of their peers, create initiatives, and lead projects that promote awareness, unity, and fundraising for our chosen charities.

At SFX, we value student voice and have implemented a Year 7-12 Student council which comprises of two student representatives from each year group. This Council meets weekly with our Director of Student Wellbeing, to provide a space for collaboration, advocacy, and student-led action to continue to improve our school.
